Suki-tte Ii na yo (, trans. Say "I Love You".) is a Japanese manga by Kanae Hazuki. An anime adaptation by ZEXCS began airing on October 6, 2012.

Plot Overview

Quiet and unassuming Mei Tachibana is 16-years-old, but has spent her high school years without making friends or getting a boyfriend because of a childhood incident that left her believing that people will betray each other sooner or later. When she encounters popular boy Yamato Kurosawa, he becomes interested in her and it is through their tentative friendship and blossoming relationship that Mei ultimately begins to branch out and befriend others.For some reason though, it seems that he takes a liking to her and one-sidedly claims that they're friends. Furthermore, he not only protects Mei from a stalker, but does so with a kiss…?!!

I'm not sure what exactly makes this anime so special to me.
The concept is simple and, many would say, overused. Yes, probably.

There's not much suspense and deep drama, so it's not something that will keep you on your toes waiting for what happens next. Also true.

The art is average too - typical for shojo genre, especially girls. No denying that.

So, what is it? Hell, if I know. It's just light and beautiful and funny and cute and all those things that make you smile and believe that this kind of love might not be just for fairy tales.Anyways its a really nice series to watch.
